technology nominated as Best IT Innovations Tourism Awards in APICTA 2001
Jakarta, Sept 5, 2001. turboHOTEL, indo.com's
hotel room distribution technology, has been selected as the Best IT Innovation
Tourism in Indonesia, and will be representing Indonesia to the International
Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) in Malaysia. turboHOTEL is an Internet-based
room distribution engine that enables independent hotels, chain hotels
and representative companies/wholesalers to communicate and transact with
their retailers, be they traditional travel agencies or web sites/portals.
turboHOTEL was selected to represent Indonesia the Best
IT Innovation Tourism Awards in APICTA, along with nine other Indonesian
companies from a number of categories. turboHOTEL will join the awards
celebration at the Palace of the Golden Horses, Mines Resort City, Malaysia,
on September 7, 2001 and will also showcase its innovations at the MSC-Multimedia
Asia Expo 2001. The Expo will be held at the Putra World Trade Centre,
Kuala Lumpur from September 6-8, 2001.
